If
you are the parent of a teenage daughter who has been haranguing you to buy
them the latest pair of high-top wedge sneakers, then you may be wondering who
you have to thank for this new craze. The answer is French clothing designer Isabel
Marant Boots. Speaking to the Wall Street Journal,
shortly after her Spring/Summer runway at Paris Fashion Week, Ms. Marant
admitted that there was little she could say to comfort parents faced with the
wedge-heel dilemma. Oh my God! I can’t say anything, you know, because I was a
teenager that’s when this idea came, said Isabel
Marant Dicker Suede Ankle Grey Boots, laughing out loud. She
went on to explain how, when she was young, she would cut up pieces of cork to
put in her sneakers to look taller. zzff20121011
